- Ministry of Justice : The French judicial system is administered by the Ministry of Justice, also known as the Chancellerie. It is managed by the Keeper of the Seals, Minister for Justice.

- Legifrance : Legifrance is the French government entity responsible for publishing legal texts online.

- The Court of Cassation : The Court of Cassation is the highest court in the French judiciary. The Court of Cassation does not strictly speaking deliver a ruling on the disputes which are at the origin of the decisions but on the decisions themselves. In actual fact it judges the decisions of the lower courts : it is up to the Court to rule whether based on the facts of the case which the courts assessed at their sole discretion and on the questions which were put to them they have accurately applied the law. The purpose of each appeal is consequently to challenge a decision and the Court of Cassation is thus required to find whether the rules of law have been correctly or incorrectly applied.

We find on its website the annually updated list of all experts of Justice classified by Court of Appeal.

- Conseil d’État : The Conseil d’État is the highest administrative jurisdiction - it is the final arbiter of cases relating to executive power, local authorities, independent public authorities, public administration agencies or any other agency invested with public authority.

High Council of the Magistracy (Conseil supérieur de la magistrature CSM) : Its missions and skills are the assistance of the President of the Republic to guarantee the independence of the judicial authority.

- National School of the Magistracy (ENM) :

The E.N.M. has its headquarters at Bordeaux, where its main activity in the recruitment and training of future magistrates takes place.

- Courts of Appeal (cour d’appel) handle appeals from most lower courts :
