Institutional Websites on the expertise of justice in EUROPE

 - http://europa.eu/ : Europa.eu is the official website of the European Union. It is a good starting point for information and services provided by the EU.

 - (CEDH) European Court of Human Rights : The European Court of Human Rights is an international court set up in 1959. It rules on individual or State applications alleging violations of the civil and political rights set out in the European Convention on Human Rights. The Court is based in Strasbourg.

- CJUE or CJCE Court of Justice of the European Union (CJUE) : Based in Luxembourg, this Court ensures compliance with EU law and rules on the interpretation and application of the treaties establishing the European Union.

- http://eur-lex.europa.eu/ : Access to European Union law with large reseach facilities on treaties, international agreements and jurisprudence.

- Prelex  : Monitoring of the decision-making process between institutions : PreLex, the database on inter-institutional procedures follows the major stages of the decision-making process between the Commission and the other institutions.

- ACA-Europe is composed of the Court of Justice of the European Union and the Councils of State or the Supreme administrative jurisdictions of each of the members of the European Union. The website provides detailed information on the operation of the various European administrative jurisdictions.

- Network of the presidents of the supreme judicial courts of the european union  : The Network of the Presidents provides a forum through which European institutions are given an opportunity to request the opinions of Supreme Courts and to bring them closer by encouraging discussion and the exchange of ideas. The members gather for colloquiums to discuss matters of common interest.

- European Parliament : Together with the Council, the Parliament adopts or amends proposals from the Commission. Parliament also supervises the work of the Commission and adopts the European Union’s budget. The European Parliament shares legislative power equally with the Council of the European Union. This means it is empowered to adopt European laws (directives, regulations etc,). It can accept, amend or reject the content of European legislation.

- European Judicial Network in civil and commercial matters : The European Judicial Network in civil and commercial matters (EJN-civil)  is a flexible, non-bureaucratic structure, which operates in an informal mode and aims at simplifying judicial cooperation between the Member States. It gives unofficial support to the central authorities as stipulated in their instruments, and facilitates relations between different courts.
